Dr Saw Chit Aung is the Senior Vice-President of the SMG International Partners and is responsible for business development and international marketing in the regional countries. Prior to joining the Company, Dr Saw Chit Aung served as the Deputy Director for Hospital Marketing, at Raffles Hospital (2004-2009) which involves the promotion of hospital services overseas, the setting up of regional offices and also the marketing of services to the local expatriate market and MNCs in Singapore. He was the Assistant General Manager of the International Marketing department at Parkway Group Healthcare (2000-2004), and was involved in the overseas marketing of the Group's services. Dr Saw Chit Aung concurrently also took charge of the Medical Referral Centre and the Gleneagles Medical Global Care, a medical evacuation arm of Parkway Group Healthcare. He worked as a research scientist in the "Face Lab" of the Plastic Surgery department at Singapore General Hospital (1993-2000), where his research was primarily on Laser Surface Scanning techniques and facial anthropometry studies, as well as 3 modelling projects using reverse engineering methods.
