Since the founding of the Singapore Medical Group (SMG) in 2005, we have been committed to the highest level of corporate governance across the organisation. As this has always been and continues to be of great importance to every aspect of our medical practices, we have dedicated significant efforts to ensure that effective systems and processes are in place.
SMG strongly endorses all aspects of good governance, including safety, reliability, independence, accountability and transparency. A climate of trust among stakeholders can only be engendered in an environment where good corporate governance is consistently upheld, and seen to be upheld without exception.
Corporate governance is especially important when our patients place their trust in us, to always deliver optimal results in a cost-effective manner. To ensure this, we continually monitor our internal processes and procedures, and take the necessary actions to comply with regulatory requirements, as well as the highest standards of medical and industry practices.
